P20 Brisbane

P20 Brisbane is a series of events created for the public to encourage community awareness and engagement in G20 issues and themes.

Professor Peter Little

Peter Little is a passionate believer in the power of learning and education - a lesson he learned personally from a young age, having transformed his own life circumstances from challenging beginnings. He has devoted much of his life to helping students forge careers in business and made significant leadership and strategic contributions to the development of corporate education as well as the community and non-profit sector.

Earlier this year, Peter was recognised with an Order of Australia for "significant service to business education, particularly university and industry collaboration and engagement, and to the community".

Currently Deputy Vice Chancellor (Corporate Programs and Partnerships), Peter has been a Professor at QUT for over 20 years. In his previous role as Executive Dean of the QUT Business School (2004 to 2012), Peter was responsible for transforming the Business School into an internationally-oriented institution. Nowadays, he is a Professor of Business Law. His expertise goes further than the academic world, indeed he holds positions in several organizations including Chair, Screen Queensland; Councillor and Member of the Executive of the RNA; a Director of RACQ Foundation Limited; Director of Ormiston College and Director of the European Foundation for Management Development (Equis) in Brussels.

Join Peter in the P20 Brisbane event series as he delivers a powerful, well-informed address on the “The Future of Employment”.
